After the success of their debut limited edition 7" single (all 1500 copies sold out in less than a week), Humanzi are gearing up for the release of their first full scale release 'Long Time Coming' on Feb 13th.

Since signing with Fiction records in Autumn 2005, Humanzi have been starting fires with their upstart attitude and their fiery rock spirit. As tracks from their as yet unreleased and untitled album (set for May 2006) have found their way into the mindset of a new generation of kids looking for something to believe in, Humanzi have been hailed by some as a bomb primed to explode - signalling the birth of a movement and a vital new band.

An angular and instantly enthralling guitar intro is kicked up the arse by pounding bass and drums that makes the intention clear….and the race is on.

Dates in the UK with Hard-Fi in October proved so successful that the band have been invited back to play more shows with them in December, and their Club NME tour won them fans and friends across the country, as did a support to rock royalty, The Foo Fighters. January will see them hit the road again and it's on stage that the riot really begins. Shaun's thousand yard stare and body jerks around his guitar and keyboard are backed up by the rest of the band who play like everything, ever, depends on it.

Humanzi are part of a thriving Dublin underground that smashes to bits the idea that the Irish music is all safe as houses tourbadours and acoustic guitars. Not in the world of them and their cohorts who represent the darker side of that city, the one that they know.
