THE NEW SINGLE RELEASED 20 TH JUNE ON NECESSARY RECORDS / ATLANTIC
Fresh from the success of their top 15 chart hit ‘Tied Up Too Tight’, Staines four piece Hard-Fi continue a phenomenal 2005 with new single ‘Hard To Beat’.
Co-produced by singer Richard Archer and long time cohort Wolsey White, ‘Hard To Beat’ takes the dark, dubby shapes of previous two singles ‘Cash Machine’ and ‘Tied Up Too Tight’, sprinkles
them with the modern day Friday night electro-glitz of Stardust and the result is an anthemic celebration of the meat market buzz of suburban clubbing. As NME recently exclaimed, it’s “like ‘Music Sounds Better With You’
scratching at track marks in a bedsit”.
Having recently toured with the Kaiser Chiefs and The Bravery, emerged from South By South West as one of the bands for 2005 and just completed a sold out UK tour, Hard-Fi are coming to a town near
you. They’ve also been confirmed to play at Glastonbury and London’s Wireless Festival (with New Order)
