Handsome Boy Modeling School are set to release their fantastic single ‘The World’s Gone Mad’, featuring Barrington Levy, Del The Funky Homosapien, and Alex Kapranos, on November 28 through Atlantic Records. 'The World's Gone Mad' is the first single to be taken from Handsome Boy Modeling School’s latest album White People, which met with widespread critical acclaim on its release in November last year, and the single has already been Zane Lowe’s ‘Record of the Week’ on his Radio 1 show.

Handsome Boy Modeling School is a teaming of quirky super-producers Prince Paul (best-known for his work with De la Soul and Stetsasonic) and Dan ‘The Automator’ Nakamura (Gorillaz). Taking their name from an episode of the cult Chris Elliott sitcom Get a Life (which was sampled several times on their debut album), Paul and Dan adopted the über-stylish alter egos of Chest Rockwell and Nathaniel Merriweather, respectively. ‘White People’, the second album from Handsome Boy Modeling School, follows where their first, 1999’s ‘So…How’s Your Girl?’, left off. Bringing together all corners of the musical spectrum: hip hop, rock, roots, alternative and even jazz, HBMS have put together a seamless cast of players that include RZA, Alex Kapranos, Mars Volta and Pharrell Williams.

Handsome Boy Modeling School are coming to the UK next month to play two dates at London’s Jazz Café on February 23 and 24, when the duo (super-producers Prince Paul and Dan ‘The Automator’ Nakamura) will be taking to the stage alongside some very special guests for what promises to be a very handsome occasion.
