Iceland’s GusGus seem to have been
around for ages now and have successfully teamed up with
Ian Brown to remix the original version of desire. Brown
brought in his whole band to add a few touches to give
it a more live and raw feel. All three tracks on the single
are great. It has a really dark, atmospheric feel to it
and the vocals give it the uplift the track needs. The
lyrics are catchy and work really well with the beats.
The rhythm is funky and quite Latin influenced, yet has
a very clear electro dance feel to it, which is the essence
of the track. It will definitely get you dancing. Really
good.
