Kent four-piece GoodBooks release a new single, 'The Illness', through Columbia Records on 7 May 2007. 'The Illness' is taken from the band's as-yet-untitled debut album, scheduled for release in July 2007, which was produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat (Scissor Sisters/Fields) and recorded at RAK studios in London.

Having recently toured with The Maccabees, the band embark on their biggest headline tour to date.
