‘BleedLikeMe’ and features an explosive and frenetic chorus complimented by a melody that ButchVig describes as Spector-esque, marking Garbage’s thundering return to their original hard rock sound.

As vocalist ShirleyManson remarked of the album’s recording process, “For the first time in a long time, the boys went in and set up amps and made it super loud and just played. I think you can feel that. The guitars sound great because of that.”

Amongst the highlights of the ‘BleedLikeMe’ are the dynamic opener ‘BadBoyfriend’, a heavy out and out rock song featuring a guest appearance from DaveGrohl on drums. Elsewhere the tender approach of the title-track and Manson’s angelic vocals contrast to mesmerising effect with the darkly themed lyrical outlook. ‘It’sAllOverButTheCrying’ is a mournful, piano-led ballad and the closer ‘HappyHome’ is Garbage at their most epic and ambitious.

Garbage will support the release of ‘BleedLikeMe’ with a full UK tour in April, with dates to be announced as they’re confirmed.
