Fischerspooner gear up for a quality summer - a new single, headlining the Astoria and the on going 6 week residency of Manumission, Ibiza.

Casey Spooner; "these early shows are exciting as they're the first steps towards developing a new show. We're going to work out a lot of production ideas in Ibiza but the focus now is finding ways to perform the music with a live band in an interesting way.

Fischerspooner’s new single is taken from the album ‘Odyssey’ which was perfectly described by the i-D as “a musical journey of classical proportions that sees them reborn, stronger, better and sleeker than before with some of the best pop melodies, crushing synths and orchestral perfection you’ll hear all year”. ‘Never Win’ is a one of those album highlights, and an absolute corker of a single. Featuring Mirwais on guitar, it’s got ‘summer anthem’ written all over it and comes complete with mixes from New York’s TV On The Radio, Benny Bennassi and Black Strobe.

‘Never Win’ is released by EMI Records on August 15th.
