Originally recorded in February 1981. The punk sound of discord is re-released to mark the 25th anniversary of the John Peel recording. A first hearing for myself but what an eye opener. Back in the days when John was somewhat of a genius and there were great music programmes such as the old grey whistle test, this trio from Edinburgh made a dent in the music industry. A must for all music fans, especially if you like modest mouse and arcade fire, I think it is safe to say where these guys got their influences. A limited edition of 1000 singles are being released and I would definitely try and purchase one. A song recorded over twenty years ago and sounds like something any band would do just now, just goes to show that fire engines were ahead of their time.
