Fields release a new ep titled 4 From The Village on July 10th 2006 through Black Lab. Recordings Recorded in London and the old English Countryside. The ep will available on as a 12"and CD and features the tracks Brittle Sticks produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys/kasbian) and Heretic and Isobelle produced by Dan Gretsch. (Scissor Sisters)

4 From The Village is the follow up to the bands debut single Song For The Fields released earlier this year. The single received a round of applause and pats on the back all round from the press. NME described them, as 'Gorgeous four part harmonies that sound something like a rustic arcade Fire'. Whilst The Observer said 'A contender for song of the summer, all scrumptious harmonies and bittersweet lyrics'

In-between catching some sun at this years festivals the band plan to spend the summer months recording their debut album for release in early 2007. Fields have spent most of the year touring with the likes of the Mystery Jets, Bloc Party, The Zutons, Spinto Band and The Editors. The band will be supporting Larrikin Love on the following dates as well as playing the Carling Weekend Festival.
