This song is what the term ‘easy listening’ was designed for, with sweet vocals, a silky melody, and a laid back vibe. The band name is misleading but the elegant black and white photo of a woman on the front shows that sometimes you can judge a book by its cover. ‘One Evening’ is pleasant enough – sub-Dido, if you like – but it doesn’t really go anywhere. This is one for the yuppies.
