Single Review

Having recently released a collection of their singles, Feeder will be spending the summer in the same way as any band with a record to promote – bouncing from one festival to another (Oxegen, T In The Park, and Carling in the case of this trio). They've also landed a support slot with the Rolling Stones on some of the ageing rockers' European dates, before they head off to Japan for a handful of gigs.

Peculiarly released ahead of the wonderful "Burn The Bridges", "Save Us" is the second new track released to promote Feeder's latest album. A cross between their early and more recent styles, the calm verses give way to a dynamic chorus, but it's far from Grant Nicholas' best work. Ending abruptly just as the band seem to be getting into their stride, it's no more than an 'album filler'.
