Norman Cook is back with this cheeky number which samples the 70s Canadian band Five Man Electrical Band.
Released on 27 th June, this is not his usual dance track; it’s got an edgier sound to it. It sounds more original and quirkier than his previous tracks like “Praise you” - in fact this one is
quite similar to that tune, but without the crazy dance for a video.
The music video for this song is what you would call, controversial! It features Don the racist and has six different endings including one featuring Paris Hilton - she’s everywhere!
The track was sent In to Fatboy and after liking how it sounded he decided to record the track. Question is why would you send a random song in to someone!?!
It features calm and collective beats with soothing vocals lead and backing! My favourite is the maracas; they just make the song sound continental and Ibiza style!
This song would be great played out loud - check slim out at Glastonbury on 26 th June!
He’ll also be doing a UK tour so check him out at one of these!
