Envelopes release a new single Free Jazz through Brille Records on Monday 13th February 2006. To coincide with the release of the single the band will be playing a seventeen-date UK tour (Find full dates below).

Free Jazz is a brand new track and will be released on CD single, 12", 7" and download, the bonus tracks are Put On Hold and Pink Christmas.

Envelopes formed three years ago, originally known as The Nicotines the band includes four Swedes and a Parisian. They released their debut single, the I Don't Like It EP, on Rex Records at the end of 2004. The band were soon snapped up by new label, Brille, set up by former XL A+R man Leo Silverman. They released their debut album Demon in August of this year, a single Sister In Love was released in October.
