A Glorious Day released on Independiente on May 30th.

Embrace follow three top 15 singles from their No.1 album Out Of Nothing with a new single entitled A Glorious Day and set for release in May.

The single will be released on May 30th following the band’s biggest headlining gigs to date in their home town Leeds on May 28th and 29th A Glorious Day will be available on 2 cds and a 7” with all new and previously unreleased b-sides. The accompanying video was shot during the band’s recent sell out shows at Brixton Academy. Track listings for the three formats are as follows:

Meanwhile Embrace have confirmed a headlining appearance on August 19th at this year’s Eden Sessions festival taking place at Cornwall’s Eden Project.

Tickets are priced £25 per day which includes entry to the Eden project on day of show or following day. Also confirmed for the festival are Basement Jaxx (August 26th) and Ian Brown (August 27th).

Embrace kick off a summer of festival appearances on June 12th where they join REM, Snow Patrol at the Isle Of Wight Festival. Also confirmed is T In The Park on July 9th and a return to V Festival where they play third on the bill to Scissors Sisters and Franz Ferdinand on the V stage at Staffordshire on Aug 20th and Chelmsford on Aug 21st.
