elbow
release a limited 12” of
remixes of tracks from their critically acclaimed Top Ten “Cast
of Thousands” LP on October 27th.
New set opener “Ribcage” is
transformed by Andy Cato (ex Groove Armada) into a dark
and dangerous stomp,
replete with analogue squelches a plenty and a thumping backbeat.
UK Hip Hop’s rising star RJD2 takes on forthcoming
single and live heartbreaking favourite “Fugitive Motel”.
Taking Guy Garvey’s emotion drenched vocals as it’s
starting point, the mix drops heavy electric piano and floating
strings to turn a romatic lament into something far more
threatening.
Kinobe’s version of “Ribcage” drops
a heavy beat over twisting downbeat effects and mutli layered
vocals to draw out the pyschedelic elements of the original
and create a truly twisted take on the original.

CD 1 - (Fugitive Motel-Switching Off Acoustic Version) -Ribcage
(Andy Cato Mix)
CD 2 - Fugitive Motel (RJD2 Mix)-Love Blown Down -Ribcage
