These Brighton boys are on to a good thing. Anyone using a sample of King Tubby is doing well especially when you're putting your own take on it and keeping it contemporary. 'Babylon Breaks' is dub style chill out with breakbeat frenzy and tripped out synthesizers. It all amounts to a thumping tune with attitude and coastal class. 'Believe In The Funk' is also progressive tapping into the more electro head but always remaining loyal to breakbeat. So judging by these tracks Ed Solo & Skool Of Thought are displaying good stuff from Brighton and there forthcoming album 'Random Acts Of Kindness' is gonna be a winner in my books.
