Contactmusic.com caught up with Tom from Editors before their sold out performance at millennium square, Leeds.

Editors have recently taken their phenomenal live show, that has propelled debut album "The Back Room", to platinum status, further afield. Their debut US tour started at South By South West with sell out shows and similar scenes in New York, Los Angeles and other major US cities followed. The band now move to Japan for their debut tour with similar interest guaranteeing a repeat of the sold out signs that have now come to be the norm for the band.

Returning to the UK for a totally sold out UK tour in late May, with three sold out Brixton Academy shows as a finale, the band are now working on tracks for their second album, recording for which will begin after a string of high profile festival shows across Europe, including slots on T In The Park, V 2006 and the Isle of Wight Festival.
