Check out the video for Digitalism's new single 'Idealistic'.

Digitalism make their synthesizers and archaic PC act like rock instruments. On ' Idealistic' they put lo-fi scrappy vocals... "I had the idea that you were near"... on top of jagged guitars and heavily compressed electronic pulses.

The single features a jacked up Hystereo remix of 'Idealistic'; is completely replayed live by WhoMadeWho; plus there's a low rider version by Kanye West's DJ, A-Trak. The B-Side will feature stand out album track, 'Digitalism In Cairo' where they dismember the Cure's "Fire in Cairo" into a dizzying bass-heavy club banger.

There are loads of rock bands making music for the dancefloor. Digitalism make electronic music that everyone can rock to. They are part of a new breed of producers leading the renaissance in electronic music which is reinvigorating and uniting the Indie and Dance scenes.

Digitalism have risen to prominence on the strength of some high profile remixes (
Klaxons, The Test Icicles, Cut Copy and The Futureheads); a few key tracks on the Kitsune compilations; and lets not forget their dancefloor destroying singles.

Digitalism have recently released their debut album 'Idealism' to critical acclaim. They have also been touring the world rocking the best festivals and clubs with their incendiary live gigs. They will be back in the UK for some key Festival dates plus their first proper UK tour in November.
