scares and pitch-black menace” - Hotdog
Fasten your seatbelts
and prepare for the road trip from hell as Dead End is
released to
rent and buy on Video and
DVD on 17th May 2004 from Pathé Distribution Ltd.
A chilling and nightmarish tale full of nerve-shredding tension,
Dead End will ensure you’re never tempted to take a
short-cut again!
Frank Harrington
(Ray Wise, Jeepers Creepers 2, Twin Peaks) is grudgingly
driving his family
to spend the holiday season
with his in-laws. His long-suffering wife Laura (Lin Shaye,
There’s Something About Mary, Stuck On You) tries to
force some cheer into the dreary journey, battling against
her husband’s moaning and son Richard’s teenage
jibes. Meanwhile, their daughter Marion (Alexandra Holden,
Ally McBeal) and her boyfriend Brad do their best to rise
above the growing tension.
For the first time in twenty years, Frank decides to take
a short-cut via a deserted route through the woods. It turns
out to be the biggest mistake of his life. The road they
find themselves on is long, straight and never-ending. Before
too long, a mysterious woman in white (Amber Smith, American
Beauty) steps out of the woods and Frank stops the car to
help her. A second decision he will come to regret!
As the survivors succumb to panic and insanity, deeply buried
family secrets burst to the surface and the journey turns
into a living hell.
Written and directed by Jean Baptiste-Andrea and Fabrice
Canepa in their first major feature film, Dead End immerses
you in a terror that will have you on the edge of your seat!
The DVD is packed with nail-biting special features including
a behind-the-scenes featurette, deleted scenes, trailers
and TV spots. Put your foot on the gas and pick up Dead End
