Damien Rice has announced a nine-date arena tour of the UK in October 2007. This will be Rice's first full UK tour in three years, following on from his four sold-out shows in March 2007. The dates will provide the public with the opportunity to hear tracks from his stunning album 9, including the current single Rootless Tree, released through 14th Floor Records on 5 February.

Released through Rice's own label Heffa and licensed to 14th Floor Records, 9 demonstrates the vast and diverse creative talent of Rice, who wrote, recorded and produced the record, as well as designing all of its artwork.
