Atlanta band D4L are set to release their US-record-breaking single'Laffy Taffy' on April 3 through Atlantic Records. With the track riding high on the nations playlists (incl. Radio 1), and the video getting mad rotation on every video channel available, this infectious and unique anthem looks set to replicate its amazing Stateside success and conquer the UK this spring.

'Laffy Taffy' made US chart history in January this year when it achieved the biggest ever one-week sale for a download of a single track, selling over 175,000 in the first week of 2006 and smashing Kanye West's previously held 85,000-sale record for 'Gold Digger' in the process. Now in its eighteenth week in the US charts, 'Laffy Taffy' has racked up a phenomenal 780,000 download sales, and counting.

Since their founding in 2003, D4L have made a name for themselves as one of the most innovative outfits on the current hip-hop scene, pioneering the hot party sound known as 'snap' music.

Their forthcoming album Down For Life - released through Atlantic Records on April 10, includes last year's underground smash, the crazy-catchy 'Betcha Can't Do It Like Me' - and sees the band doing what they do best, dropping nimble southern-fried rhymes over some snappy grooves.
