New Zealand punk pop group 'Cut Off Your Hands' release their 2nd single 'Oh Girl' on February 18th 2008 through 679 recordings.

'Cut Off Your Hands' released their debut single in October 2007 to a huge response (selling out in under 24 hours) COYH continue their assault on the UK. The band have been touring relentlessly with new friends and now huge fans, Foals, and have just returned back from NYC's CMJ where they appeared as the toast of the festival.

As soon as they touched down in London they were asked by Les Savy Fav to play an impromptu one track set before them at their sold out Scala show (Les Savvy Fav's label French Kiss is desperate to sign the band).

COYH are becoming increasingly known for their hugely energetic, raucous live show where singer Nick spends most of the set hurtling himself across the stage snarling, growling and gurning in a sweat driven haze. so it's with much delight to hear new single Oh Girl - a melodic pop gem, on the more sentimental end of COYH's musical spectrum:

This single is vintage sounding harmonious pop at its very best. Produced by Bernard Butler (Manics, Suede, Libertines, Duffy), Oh Girl is as hooky as great pop gets and certainly as joyful as we'll see COYH for a while.
