On March 24th Clinic release a new single, 'The Witch'. It's taken from their forthcoming fifth studio album, 'Do It!', which is out 7 April 2008, the single follows the band's download single 'Free Not Free' / 'Thor'.

A neatly twisted Bo Diddley / Dr John dancerfloor groover about escaping a modern day witch-hunt for a new future, 'The Witch' comes complete with two new tracks, 'Earl Mallard', a Residents meets Syd Barrett xylophone and fuzz swing number and the acid blues of 'Hijack'.

'Do It!' is Clinic's summer album, a warped technicolor celebration. Pop music and severe cut-ups going from melody to acid psychosis to acoustic, usually in the same song. A skewed pop amalgam of Motown, Exuma, deep lounge and The Balloon Farm (amongst many), the album was recorded by Clinic and mixed by Jacquire King. Clinic have long inhabited their own universe, and the world of 'Do It!' feels expanded and exploded - equally exuberant, giddy and up.

Following their recent sold-out UK dates with Arcade Fire, Clinic, much beloved by the likes of Radiohead who they have also supported, are hitting the road in April, playing the following UK dates:
