Citizen Cope is set to release his sophomore LP "The Clarence Greenwood Recordings," on September 14th. This self produced CD of the one time keyboardist and DJ for Basehead marks his desire to "...break down all these divisions that people have in life..." On The Clarence Greenwood Recordings his love of blues, R&B, rap and dub are still omnipresent, but they service sharp tunes that burrow his tales of urban aspiration into your eardrum. It's like listening to Elton John or Steely Dan if they had grown up nodding heads to A Tribe Called Quest.
