Chris Brown releases his second single 'Yo (Excuse Me Miss)' on 24th April 2006 through RCA Label Group. Taken from his platinum self titled debut album, this single follows the massive hit 'Run It!' which is still riding high in the UK charts.

'Yo (Excuse Me Miss)' is Chris Brown giving an old word a new twist. When Chris says 'yo' it isn't just saying 'hi'. It's a loaded 'yo', he wants you to know that he has romantic intentions. Words change meaning all the time. If you're whack you're bad, Bad means good, sounding hot is cool and being sick is good because it means ill, gettit? Now 'yo' means...well, you know what it means.

Chris Brown's passage into the music world wasn't as straightforward as it is for most. He doesn't hail from a famous urban music hub like New York. Neither was he part of a well-connected scene.
