Southern California based singer/songwriter Chad Farren has come up with the perfect West coast driving soundtrack. He deftly blends Brazilian roots, James Taylor-like folk flirtations, and laidback surf-culture vibe to interpret Bossa Nova, Samba, Samba Reggae, and Maracatu styles with strong yet subtle vocals and organic percussion via the tabla, shakers, and caixa among others.

Lyrics expressing Farron's musings on love and love lost over plenty of acoustic guitar work add to the disc's overall allure making "Another Ride" worth more than just one more ride.
