North London's Cajun Dance Party will release their brilliant new single Amylase on 27th August on XL Recordings.

Produced by Bernard Butler, Amylase will come in a special limited edition hand-stitched package that will include both a 7" and CD and will feature brand new track Fill The Cups. Bernard originally discovered the band over a year ago and contacted them via Myspace, long before they had a record deal. However, being just three years old when Suede released their eponymous debut album, the five band members didn't know who he was and ended up not getting back to him.

Twelve months on though, the partnership has been cemented and Cajun Dance Party have produced a glorious, soaring single that's so fully formed and complete yet so vital and youthful at the same time.

The release of the Amylase is set to build on the success of the teenage five piece's rapturously received, limited-edition debut single The Next Untouchable which sold out within a day of release and provoked delirious responses at a series of sold out gig across the capital.
