Brakes are a Brighton based quartet, made-up of former British Sea Power member Eamon Hamilton & Electric Soft Parade Members Tom & Alex White. This latest single is the title track from the bands 2nd record 'The Beatific Visions' released last year on the mighty Rough Trade label.

Consisting of sweet male vocals, with the guitar riff providing a hook, Beatific Visions is a really warm & positive pop number with 'summertime' written all over it.

In the midst of embarrassing acts such as Razorlight & Keane and the seemingly declining British music scene it's nice to know that the United Kingdom can still serve up some quality indie pop when required.
