Barefoot Dancing's backbreaking opening riff heralds the arrival of Blackbud's new single and the opening track from their debut longplayer From The Sky.

The follow-up to the West Country trio's two previous releases - the Livewire and Heartbeat eps - Barefoot Dancing features the kind of explosive hooks and complexity of structure and melody that are fast becoming Blackbud's trademark. The young three piece, winners in 2004 of Glastonbury's unsigned band competition, have been tipped for bigger things in 2006 by several of the UK's most discerning music critics and championed by Radio One's Zane Lowe.

On Barefoot Dancing Joe Taylor - a guitarist with "a quicksilver touch and encyclopaedic knowledge of chords" (The Times) - unleashes incendiary guitar volleys that are deftly reeled in by the highly effective rhythm section of Sam Nadel and Adam Newton. The single is available in cd single and 7" vinyl with both formats featuring new tracks unavailable elsewhere. With their debut album due for release on June 19th, Blackbud are currently in the midst of an extensive UK tour culminating in a gig at London's legendary 100 Club. Remaining dates as follows:
