Fallen Leaves
Single Review

Originally named Pezz, this Toronto-based Canadian quartet has been playing together for over a decade. Multi-platinum success in North America sees them about to embark on a gargantuan tour of the continent, but their profile on this side of the Atlantic is enough to have secured them a festival slot at Germany's Rock Am Ring.

Taken from their imaginatively titled second album, "Billy Talent II", "Fallen Leaves" is a punk rocker that is instantly reminiscent of Green Day, right down to Benjamin Kowalewicz's shouted vocals. Catchy without being thrilling, the chorus is designed for fist-pumping moshpits, but the song lacks substance and is easily disposable as soon as the last chords end.
