This CD comes with a cute little board game of snakes and ladders (minus the ladders) and from this you get a feeling of what they're like. Snakes and Snakes is a jaunty piece of pop á la the Byrds (whom they've been compared to) and the theme of innocence and hippies seems to run all over. There is a great melody on here that carries all the way through but perhaps this is why it sounds dated despite the odd inclusion of some 50's music hall piano near the end. Fans of lo-fi and sixties pop will love it.
