Remix of whole Guero album to be released in New Year

Guerolito, Spanish for Little Guero, is to be released on January 23rd and will be made up of remixes of all of the tracks from Beck's most recent album, the genius Guero.

On the same day a limited edition 7" of Hell Yes (Ghettochip Malfunction Remix) will be released.

Guerolito will feature a cast of top remixers and artists including Adrock (Beastie Boys), Air, Dizzee Rascal, John King (Dust Brothers), Octet, Mario C, Boards Of Canada and Homelife.

Even the artwork from Guero will be 'remixed' by the artist responsible for the original sleeve, Marcel Dzama.

The original Guero, Beck's seventh studio album, was released in March to critical acclaim. The Sunday Times described it as 'stunning' while NME's 8/10 review said that the album was full of 'phat beats, phat riffs and phatitude'.
