Following on from the hugely successful ‘Where’s Your Head At?’ Basement Jaxx prepare to release the equally out-there Jaxx-esqe ‘Get Me Off' on June 17th. Dirtier than Janine Butcher, this tune is going to punish you. Felix and Simon have had a long and successful year since the release of their second, critically acclaimed album ‘Rooty’. 3 top ten singles, a world tour, A Brit and NME award later, the lads are riding high and ready for a great summer.

This is a delectable package. First of all, you are treated to the Jaxx’s own radio and club mixes. Typically, fucked up, deep, down and dirty, their production is bar none.

Adding some cheeky craziness to the whole affair is the superb Canadian star-in-waiting, Peaches. Her remix strips the original down and adds her own sultry quips and teases. Next up is the already much talked about Superchumbo (AKA Tom Stephan) mix. A very limited number of 12’s were leaked before Miami, it quickly picked up support from the likes of Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Yousef, Bonus tracks include a new Jaxx mix of ‘Do Your Thing’ and the brilliant re-working of ‘Broken Dreams’ by New York’s finest Latino homeboys Los Amigos Invisibles.

As well as the release of Get Me Off, they will be headlining Homelands, Winchester on June 1st 2002 and have now confirmed headline appearances on the second stages of the following festivals.
