Boy, aka Damon Gough, releases a new single on April 21st 2003.
‘All Possibilities’ (released by Twisted Nerve, through
XL Recordings) is the third single to be taken from his top
ten album, ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’ the follow up
to 2000’s Mercury Music Prize winning release ‘The
Hour Of Bewilderbeast.’
‘All Possibilities’ comes out
on two formats (cd and 7” vinyl) with both featuring
exclusive tracks.
The cd will feature ‘Where Were You’
and ‘Let The Sunshine’ recorded live from Maida
Vale Studios for BBC Radio 1’s Lamaq live.
The 7” is backed with live favourite,
‘Walk Away Renee’ (a cover of the Lefte Bank classic)
which is a rough and ready audience bootleg from his US tour
in 2000.
The release of ‘Have You Fed The Fish?’
came hot on the heels of the critically acclaimed ‘About
A Boy’ soundtrack and the hit singles, ‘You Were
Right’ and ‘Born Again’. ‘Have You Fed
The Fish’ has been described by Uncut Magazine as ‘a
modern classic’ and by Arena as ‘the album of the
year’.
