Athlete release their new single "Twenty Four Hours" on Parlophone on November 14.
The band play their biggest-ever UK tour in October/November, which includes two London shows at the Hammersmith Apollo, so the Apple show is an incredible opportunity to see them at close range. Fans will be able to get tickets through a competition on the band's website – www.athlete.mu
Athlete's number 1 album, Tourist, has sold over 500,000 copies worldwide with the singles 'Wires' and 'Half Light' both scoring a number 1 position in the UK airplay chart. The band have also been supporting U2 on their world tour as well as playing sets at the biggest and best festivals, including Glastonbury, V2005, Bennicassim, and a headline slot at the Grolsch Summer Set at Somerset House.
