West Coast group ALO release their first UK single, "Girl, I Wanna Lay You Down", on 21st August, featuring guest vocals from Jack Johnson.

The track is lifted from the band's current album "Fly Between Falls". The 10 track album captures the full force of the band's collective consciousness to weave quirky Californian soul with shape shifting jams, introspective lyrics with sun-soaked funk, all infused with an uplifting vibe.

The band recently returned to the UK for the first time since supporting Jack Johnosn on his arena tour in Feb/march of this year, playing their first UK headline show at London's Borderline club on Friday 4th August, followed by a slot the following day at the Rip Curl/Rizla/Unleashed Music Festival in Newquay on Sat 5th August.
