Alex Gopher releases his new single The Game digitally on the 9th July 2007.
As well as being a well-respected producer, Dj and musician in his own right, Alex Gopher has collaborated with a range of widely-respected international acts such as Bootsy Collins ,Mozesli, Jamiroqua<, Bob Sinclair, Nightmares on Wax, T'ri Mo<se, Jean-Louis Aubert, , Vanessa Paradis and Sly and Robbie. His first two albums 'You, my baby and I' and "Alex Gopher with Demon presents WUZ" were released in 25 countries. Since then, Alex has toured the world with Etienne de Crecy as part of the Superdiscount project, and produced several 12-inches for Parisienne label-of-the-moment Kitsune and BTK, as well as having a full diary of DJ and live bookings for 2007.
His new project, simply called 'Alex Gopher', is a revival of the early musical ideas he explored with his 1st band Orange, and sees an excursion into more pop-based songwriting. The record sees Alex collaborating with ex-Orange partners Jean-BenoOt Dunckel and Nicolas Godin (Air), as well as French singer Helena Noguerra and guitarist Olivier Libaux (Nouvelle Vague).
