The seeds of AFI, or A Fire Inside, were planted in Ukiah, California when founder members Davey Havok and Adam Carson met in 1991. Since the release of their debut 7", they've gone on to make six albums, with a seventh titled "Decemberunderground" soon to be unleashed.

Everything you associate with American metal bands can be found in "Miss Murder" – power chords, a big chorus, shouting, and screaming. It is because of this that the track fails to really stand out, and it is as far away from being good as it is from being poor. When singing, Havok actually has a very smooth voice, which is perhaps something the band need exploit more of.
