Although it seems unfathomable to work out what the acronym actually stands for, seeing as this single is largely dominated by Snoop Dogg (better known as the Dee-oh-double-Gee, fo’ shizzle) I’m not going to criticise it too harshly, for fear of ending up with a ‘cap in mah ass’. He is undoubtedly the most maniacal looking rapper in existence. Anyhow, P.I.M.P. is an above-average affair from another recent Shady records signing (see Obie Trice for some slightly less scary Gangsta rap). Taken from the much-heralded album which, if you like this sort of thing, you should already own; but the real reason for buying the single however is the included video, complete with highly amusing intro and cut-scenes, featuring a board meeting of pimps, complete with lots of ice, perms and a golden stick.
