The Pigeon Detectives release their new single ‘This Is An Emergency’ on May 5th 2008. The single’s taken from their album simply called ‘Emergency’ released on May 26th - exactly two days shy of a year after their debut ‘Wait For Me’ came out.

Pigeon Detectives (Matt Bowman – vocals / Ryan Wilson – guitar / Jimmi Naylor – drums / Oli Main – guitar / Dave Best- bass) recorded ‘Emergency’ in Monnow Valley in Wales with producer Stephen Street and it’s currently being mixed by Cenzo Townshend with whom they worked with on the last record.

The Pigeon Detectives turned down several (lucrative!) offers from other labels after the success of their first record – which produced 4 hit singles – in order to re-sign with Leeds label Dance To The Radio. After all, they got it right first time around …
