The Automatic return with a new single 'Steve Mcqueen' on August 18th 2008 through B-Unique Records, it was produced by Butch Walker (Hot Hot Heat, Pink, Fall Out Boy) and is the first from their new album 'This Is A Fix' (out 25th August).

The Automatic return after having a shuffle and a Pennie-less line-up The Automatic return with a new member Paul Mullen (originally of Yourcodenameis:milo) and an album full of power pop-rock.

The Automatic have been confirmed to play the main stage at this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals before embarking on a full UK tour at the end of September.
