Snow Patrol release a new single 'Take Back The City' on October 13th 2008 through Fiction/Polydor. This is the first single from their highly anticipated new album 'A Hundred Million Suns'. The video for 'Take Back The City' was directed by Alex Courtes (White Stripes 'Seven Nation Army') and filmed in London.

The album was produced by Jackknife Lee and the studio where they recorded part of their new album - Hansa Studios in Berlin - has quite a history, previously David Bowie recorded his classic albums Heroes, Low and Lodger.

Gary Lightbody spoke about the album: 'I'm so proud of this record. Everybody played out of their skin. Garret (Jacknife Lee) continued his progression from maverick genius to one of the best producers in the world. Musically, lyrically and sonically the best record we've made'
