Pixie Lott's single Mama Do has gone straight to number one in the UK, the single was released last week (8th June) through Mercury Records. The 18 year old from Essex has taken the UK by storm, the Sunday Times has labelled her 'the most authentic pop voice in years'.

Pixie is set to release her debut album Turn It Up on 7th September. To give you a taste of what to expect from Pixie's album, it's set out to be a pop-tastic affair as she's co-written with some of the most prolific writers and producers around including Cutfather and Jonas Jeburg (Kylie, Pussycat Dolls, Jordin Sparks), Toby Gad (Beyonce, The Veronicas) and RedOne (the man behind Lady Gaga's top three singles).
