A surprising collaboration has sprouted what might be one of the strongest pop singles and albums of the year. Released on G.O.O.D Music/Mercury Records 'Straight No Chaser' is the second album by singer-songwriter Ben Hudson.

The album is produced by Grammy winning Hip Hop superstar Kanye West. This rather unlikely partnership of British singer-songwriter and hip hop pioneer came about through a mutual admiration.

Kane West loved the first Mr Hudson album 'A Tale Of Two Cities', which became a fixture on his I-pod. When Ben began looking for a producer for his second album he received a direct call from Kanye himself pitching for the producer job.

The first single to be taken from 'Straight No Chaser' 'Supernova', is a real pop anthem with Kanye adding an angst ridden rap and world beating production we can't see how this single will fail.

Mr Hudson will be appearing and performing at Wireless Festival on Sunday 5th July and also performing at the iTunes Festival on July 7th, with a very special guest!

Supernova' is released on July 20th and the 'Straight No Chaser' Mr Hudson's album is to be released on October 5th.

Mr Hudson is also confirmed as the support for Calvin Harris on his tour through October and will also be supporting him at Calvin Harris's Somerset House on July 20th.
