Mogwai release a new EP entitled Batcat on September 8th 2008, the title track is featured on their new album due for release later this month.

It's been 2 years since Mogwai's last studio album and many fans are looking forward to the release of 'The Hawk Is Howling', it's being released on Wall Of Sound, as is the EP which also features two tracks which up until now have been unavailable titled 'Stupid Prick Gets Chased By The Police And Loses His Slut Girlfriend' and 'Devil Rides' featuring vocals from the legendary 13th Floor Elevator , Roky Erickson.
