This month sees the release of a new Midfield General album General Disarray - a mere 8 years after the release of his critically acclaimed debut album, Generalisation.

After warming things up nicely with the limited 'Bass Mechanic' single at the beginning of the year, the General turns up the heat with the single 'Disco Sirens', released today. A veritable who's who of sonic dignitaries, with Damian joined by Vila of the Bumblebeez on vocals, and Xavier De Rosnay from Justice and Soulwax supplying some additional production expertise. The result is a floor shaking masterclass, that's perfectly set to dominate radio waves and dance moves in the coming months. The mix package ticks even more boxes, with Chicken Lips, Boy 8Bit and D.I.M all joining the party too. The General may have been away from the limelight, but here the sirens announce his return in fine style!
