Marvin release 'Superhero' on April 7th 2008, it's taken from his forthcoming debut album 'Devil In The Distance'. The single release is followed a fortnight later by the 'Superfriends EP' which features the guest lyricists such as: Example, Akira The Don, Skinny Man & Jammer along with Marvin on some re-interpretations of the track.

Marvin's also teamed up with a some of the UK's finest hiphop talent to re-interperate the track with their help; 'Superfriends Part 1' sees Marvin joined by Akira The Don and Example (who Marvin has been gigging with of late. Superfriends Part 2 takes in the legend that is Skinny Man and rising star Jammer.

Marvin explains: 'I wrote 'Superhero' about my childhood fantasies about being able to fly anywhere, to pick up cars and look through walls. Unfortunately as I have grown-up, I realise that just getting by and surviving the daily grind is the hardest power to master.'

Devil In The Distance, which the now solo Marvin recorded with his producer & DJ Jack Nimble, alongside the considerable knob twiddling clout of Bristol platinum-selling producers Bob Locke (Massive Attack, Tricky) and Andy Jenks (Alpha) is set for an August 2008 release.

Marvin performed at last year's Camden Crawl, and has previously toured the country with a number of acts including Mobo winner Akala, Yes Boss, and Lethal Bizzle.
