Watch the video for Manu Chao's track Politik Kills released on May 26th 2008 through Because Music. The video was filmed Monrovia, Liberia,1 year after the war had ended. Politik Kills was directed by by French film-maker Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire and Manu Chao.

Whilst the filming was , Jean-Stéphane was in Liberia starting to cast ex-child soldiers for his feature film, 'Johnny Mad Dog'. The boy in the video was called Christian, he lived in the centre of the town where most of the fighting took place and for the most part, he was in the centre of the fight. After the war finished, Christian returned to school.
