Coast On By is the new single from King Creosote released on 27th April through Domino Records, this is the first single from his latest album 'Flick The Vs' out a week prior to the single.

The single was co-written with Steve Mason (Beta Band, King Biscuit Time, Black Affair) at his house. King Creosote described the song writing process as a happy accident. He played a short part of a track and ad-libbed an extra line and by the time KoC came back from the kitchen with a cup of tea Mason had used the ad-libbed material and created a whole new track.
