Idina Menzel releases a new single 'Brave' from her album 'I Stand' out on October 13th 2008. Idina has seen much fame as an actress and Broadway star including starring in Rent and Wicked, for for roles she was nominated for a Toni award and won it for her role in Wicked.

I Stand is Idina's debut solo album, it was produced by Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette, Celine Dion, Annie Lennox). Idina spoke about the album: 'For the first time in my life, I had a feeling of complete artistic freedom. I've wanted to work with Glen forever. He really understands musicians and provides the perfect environment for creativity. Not only did he have a deep understanding of the complexities and timbre of my voice but he celebrated my talent as a songwriter.'
